Finding your Voice Online - An Inquiry into the Use of Online Voice Applications in Higher Education - Michael Coghlan June 2004
In 2003/4 Michael Coghlan was the eLearning Coordinator at the Douglas Mawson Institute of Technology in South Australia and facilitated a national LearnScope project to further explore the use of voice online with VET practitioners from all Australian states.
This article from 2004 gives an overview of what types of voice tools are (were!) available, and describes how they are being used in synchronous and asynchronous learning environments. It attempts to break down the security and pedagogical barriers practitioners face in integrating real time voice-to-voice interactions into their learning strategies. - PDF Document | Word Document
