Exercise - Welcome students with a Voice Announcement

1. Give this announcement the subject: "Blackboard now has a voice!"
2. Record a message welcoming students to your Blackboard course.
3. Listen to your recording and, if satisfied, post the announcement.
4. Type a message to accompany your post with instructions on how to play the recording.
5. Make the tool only available for the next month.
6. Logout and log back in as a student - check the difference in options available within the Voice Tool.
7. You could change this vocal announcement on a daily, weekly or monthly basis.

Exercise - Assign Homework with Voice Recorder

1. Add an applet to the Assignments page.
2. Record a message explaining a homework assignment, including details such as what pages should be read, and a due date.
3. Provide a relevant title that pertains to the assignment, including the assignment's due date.
4. Do not make this applet available.
