Make Voice Email the Preferred Method of Contact

  1. Create a new Folder called, "Course Communication."
  2. Build a new Voice Email named just that, "Voice Email."
  3. Give the email a subject line of, "Voice Email from WebCT."
  4. Type a message with instructions indicating that students are encouraged to send a message using both voice and text.

Spark Dialogue Between Students with a Suggestion Board

  1. Create a new Voice Board within the Course Communication Folder entitled, "Feedback Board."
  2. Describe this Board via text. Tell students it's their sounding board for suggestions on how to improve class and provide their thoughts on how the semester is going.
  3. View the most recent message at the bottom of the Board. d. Allow students to start a new thread.
  4. Limit recording time to 1 minute.
  5. Post the first message. Include a vocal synopsis of the Board's purpose, as well as text on how to use the features of the Board.
