OAB Stage 3 - Assign Assessments

Assessments need to be assigned to groups at this stage.

Note on roles:

  • PowerUsers may assign assessments to groups
  • Administrators need to create the groups

So, you may need to get the assistance of an administrator to be able to create the groups of students you wish to assign assessments to.

Exercise - Assign to Groups

There is a pre-built group called 'Training' that everybody in the training session is a member of.

  1. Assign your new assessment to this group
  2. Ensure the assessment is released immediately.

Exercise - Take/Grade Assessments

  1. Buddy up with someone in the class
  2. Login as a Student User
  3. Take your Buddy's assessment
  4. Log back in as PowerUser
  5. Grade your Buddy's assessment attempt - notice how it is highlighted on the My Manager tab?
  6. Log back in as a Student User and view your graded assessment plus any comments.
