Voice Board

Voice Boards are essentially audio-enabled Discussion Boards. Like ordinary discussion boards, they allow users to use text to make their posts. However, they also allow users to leave verbal messages. These are invaluable in a language learning context, though they have uses across other curriculum areas too.

Voice Boards have the following features:

  • Comprehensive message settings (forward posts, threaded or by date, private, etc)
  • Set desired audio quality
  • Access control (Public, logged and restricted access)
  • User control (by user account or group)
  • Publish (by link or by auto-generated HTML code)
  • Customisable HTML code to allow embedding in your own content
  • Set record time
  • Threading options
  • Private reply options
