How the Voice Tools helped:

We use the voice direct - what I'd call the voice chat - in conjunction with WebCT White board to show how verbal instructions can create interaction.

We use the voice email tools to send people emails to advise them of voice direct sessions, just keeping in contact with them. We think it's a little bit more personal than a text email can be - but you still get the same benefit of mass communication. People are so used to seeing a generic form email that to hear somebody's voice... it seems to be more personal - somebody is talking to them
