Allan Christie
Managing Director
NetSpot’s Founder and Managing Director, Allan Christie, was a senior university academic before establishing NetSpot Pty Ltd in 1998. As a Fellow and current member of the executive of ASCILITE (Australasian Society for Computers in Learning in Tertiary Education), Allan has worked closely with the university
community for the last 20 years.
This understanding of Higher Education and its culture has been transferred to all NetSpot staff and this has been an important part of the ongoing success of NetSpot. |

Brett Buchel
Senior Director, Operations
Brett brings over 20 years senior experience to NetSpot, managing IT operations within the corporate and education sectors. This experience is combined with extensive knowledge across all IT areas to assist in bringing about sustainable change within IT operations.
As NetSpot’s Senior Director, Operations, Brett’s responsibilities include management of Infrastructure & Systems; Support & Service Delivery; and the Help Desk areas. Brett’s role is instrumental in helping continue the sustainable growth of NetSpot and managing the infrastructure to support it. |

Mark Drechsler
Director, Consulting
Mark is responsible for the Consulting services provided by NetSpot, as well as playing a pivotal role in NetSpot's product development strategy through his close connections with Moodle HQ and the e-learning community.
Mark has 15 years of experience in a range of education sector roles, including university tutoring, corporate systems management, software development management, project management and adult education, and is responsible for the provision of expert e-learning knowledge services to NetSpot clients. Mark is a highly respected educational technology blogger and speaker, having presented at conferences such as ascilite, HERDSA, Moodlemoots and Moodleposiums. |

James Strong
Senior Director
Technology & Professional Services
James has over 15 years experience both implementing and managing complex eLearning system projects and solutions and as Senior Director, Technology & Professional Services, James now oversees the company's service offerings including, hosting, support, consulting and development.
Having been involved in implementing the first wave of learning management systems, James is excited to be a part of shaping the next wave centered around flexible open source systems and innovative enterprise level services.

Stephen Watt
Senior Director
Business Development & Strategic Marketing
Steve manages the team primarily responsible for ensuring that NetSpot develops productive partnerships with new and existing clients over the long term. As a member of NetSpot's executive management team, Steve actively informs the business strategies and manages marketing activities which underpin NetSpot's activities in key markets.
Steve specialises in the management of new initiatives and has over 10 years of management experience in Australia and South East Asia with extensive knowledge of the global higher education eLearning market including emerging technologies and ventures.
