We understand that implementing your e-learning solution
is more than installing software. Gathering a stakeholder group
who will want to learn the basics of learning content management,
system features and configuration options in Equella will all be
an early activity in your implementation. There will be new processes
to define, features to master and training to manage.
Via Netspot, our training and hosting provider, The Learning Edge
International provides extensive EQUELLA training, suitable for
all levels of users, in a way which will quickly build a core team
of knowledgeable users and administrators in your institution.
The Learning Edge International offers training courses for each
product offering as well as customised training for clients with
specific needs. Our programs are designed to help site administrators,
librarians, support personnel, and teaching and learning staff make
the most of their investment and prepare to introduce others to
your new system. Through our training partner, Netspot, The Learning
Edge International will work directly with your staff to explain
how to best use, implement and administer EQUELLA to:
– Leverage product features and meet business objectives more
quickly.
– Enhance the value for administrators, instructors and authors.
– Prepare to train others in using EQUELLA in every day teaching
and learning activities
All engagements enjoy access to our dedicated training environment
with the option of access via integrations into common Learning
Management Systems. Our approach provides an opportunity to work
through a series of structured training scenarios and experience
a range of EQUELLA configurations.
End-User Product Training
on EQUELLA is delivered on-site. Using a consultative approach our
knowledgeable instructors will supply training notes, worksheets,
access to the online training environment, system documentation
and user guides specific to EQUELLA. Training manuals are made available
in a variety of formats for duplication.
Outcomes of training include:
- an understanding of the core principles surrounding
knowledge management via learning content management systems in
learning institutions,
- a solid understanding of what EQUELLA is and how
to use each of its components,
- an ability to access support resources, help and
the global user group
- insight in to successful training approaches
- a framework for approaching the configuration of
EQUELLA to your needs
All training is carefully evaluated following each
session with a continuous improvement process is a place ensuring
training of a consistently high quality. End-User Product Training
can be tailored to ensure suitability for all levels of users.
